Making a Difference

One of my favorite things about being a dog trainer is getting the opportunity to make a difference for rescue dogs

Life in a cold, lonely cage doesn't lend itself to a well rounded pup. This is why foster homes are so important! They help make the transition form the gloomy past to a bright future. In a quality foster home, rescue dogs get medical care, behavior evaluations, and even training to help them get the best chance at finding their forever homes.

Adopt me!

If you know anyone that is looking to adopt a pup, spread the word about the pup below!

Honey B

"B" is currently staying with me in my home. She is the sweetest girl! She's great with my 3 year old daughter, shares all her toys and is very gentle. That said, she is a high energy girl, but after her energy needs are met for the day, she's happy so lay around the house or nap in her crate. While in my care, B is learning good house manners, crate training, and walking nice on the leash.

Forever Home.

Below are just a few of the many dogs I've had the privilege of helping through Rescue Rovers.

Scout

This special girl went from euthanasia list to beloved family dog! I was called to evaluate her and found that she had some mild to moderate reactivity issues. After some time in our social group and some work on her manners, she became our best "greeter" when new dogs came to the park meetups. I miss her every day but we found the best forever family for her.

Oswin Oswald

One of the Heeler pups- he was interesting cause he was fluffy but still had the heeler markings! Just another Cutie Patootie who went to an amazing forever home.

Nanuqu.jpg

Nanuq

One of a litter of 5 Japanese Akita puppies (Nanuq, Sakari, Shaila, & Arrluk) that ended up in the care of Rescue Rovers. I was told the mama was super aggressive and no one could come near her. I was called to evaluate the puppies, I found that they were tenacious little things but also sweet and cuddly! I worked with them daily to help them be polite members of society and we found them all amazing homes! Nanuq was just a sweet boy! A bit of a loaner compared to his siblings, but loved to get attention from people, he enjoyed being challenged during training.

Shaila

A gentle and smart girl but stubborn as stubborn could be! We made sure to find her a family that would love her, commit to her and put in the time it would take to train her to be the best pup she could be.

Jack

one of 5 Heeler pups we picked up from a freedom ride transport to Rescue Rovers. I got to help them learn their basic manners and potty training. We soon found amazing homes for the whole litter!

Taz and Molly

Taz is a little spunky thing who absolutely loves playtime and his new forever mom! After a while having Taz at home, his mom decided it was time to add a new pup to the pack and along came Molly. Taz and Molly got along beautifully with one another at their meet and greet and now they're enjoying their forever home together,

Sakari

Now if there was an award for "sweetest of the bunch" this girl right here would be the winner! She was super people oriented, though sweet as she was, she was a very opinionated girl with a strong personality! We found her a good home where she'd be the center of attention.

Spook

This little pup was an oopsie on my part! My friend and I went down to the Nephi shelter to pick up one dog...but I couldn't leave this boy behind, so we brought him with us too! This poor boy was afraid of his own shadow. But with some time in his foster home and lots of time in group therapy, he slowly started coming around. Today he's with his forever family watching his new baby sister grow up.

Serena

This gorgeous red Husky girl was recently adopted by her forever family and she has 2 new Husky brothers. She's a playful and fun-loving girl that will make her foster family smile for years to come!

Arrluk

This cute boy was a challenge! Strong personality and a bit of an attitude, training with him had to be challenging and creative. He was a smart pants who learned quickly but if he got bored he'd find some expensive way to fix it! We found him a family that was willing to put in all the work he needed to become his best self!
